Spiritual tests
Spiritual tests free online: esoteric collection with personalized interpretation and no signup.
The spiritual tests on Tarotsi are not clinical psychometric tests but self-exploration questionnaires that use symbols, archetypes and esoteric traditions to spark reflection. You will find the Jungian archetype test, the spirit animal test, the dominant element test, the mythological deity test, the past lives test and the ESP test (extrasensory perception).
What is meant by archetype
An archetype is a symbolic figure recurring in human culture. Swiss psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961) proposed the theory of the archetypes of the collective unconscious: Hero, Shadow, Anima, Animus, Magician, Sage, Innocent, Rebel. The Jungian archetype test on Tarotsi works with twelve classical archetypal figures and returns the one closest to your answers.
Spirit animal and dominant element
The spirit animal has roots in the shamanic cultures of Asia, Africa and the Americas: a symbolic guide identified with by qualities or role. The Tarotsi test offers a contemporary version with twelve animals and their qualities (strength, intuition, freedom, loyalty). The dominant element test works with the four elements of the Greco-medieval tradition (Fire, Water, Air, Earth) and identifies the one most present in your profile, useful in dialogue with astrology.
Mythological deity and past lives
The mythological deity test uses figures of classical mythologies (Greek, Roman, Norse, Egyptian) as archetypal mirrors: Apollo, Athena, Aphrodite, Odin, Isis, Anubis. The past lives test, inspired by the reincarnation traditions of Indian origin, proposes a symbolic scenario that many traditions interpret as memory of a previous life. Contemporary psychology rather reads it as archetypal imagery revealing something of the present.
ESP test
ESP stands for Extrasensory Perception. The test, inspired by J. B. Rhine s research in the 1930s, presents a series of "blind choices" and evaluates how often you match the expected option, beyond chance. Parapsychology is not an established science: results have ludic, not diagnostic value.
How to use the tests
Answer the questions spontaneously, without overthinking. The result is a symbolic profile built on your answers: it will change if you repeat the test on another day. It is an invitation to curiosity, not a verdict. To explore the meaning of terms check the glossary, with entries on archetype, animism, chakra, intuition, paranormal and more.
Limits
The tests on Tarotsi are not diagnostic tools nor scientifically validated questionnaires like MBTI, Big Five or clinical scales. They serve as self-exploration prompts and do not replace psychological counseling. For serious distress consult a qualified professional. More details on the disclaimer page.
FAQ
Are the tests valid?
They are symbolic self-exploration tools. They do not have the validity of standardized psychometric tests: they use archetypal qualities to offer a mirror to recognize yourself.
Can I take the same test more than once?
Yes. Getting different results over time is normal: the test measures your current state, not an immutable trait.
Do I need to register?
No. All tests on Tarotsi are free and accessible without registration, apart from optional fields to personalize the result.
Does the ESP test really measure paranormal abilities?
No. It measures how often your choice matches a random option generated by the system. Statistically a large number of trials would be needed for significant results, and even then the scientific community does not consider ESP confirmed.
