How it works
Each applicable answer contributes one point to one of four response patterns. Not-applicable answers are excluded. At least six applicable answers are needed to highlight patterns; all ties remain visible. The twelve situations and descriptions are original and are not a clinical scale.
Use this result as a symbolic or reflective prompt, in the context of your own situation.

What it is for
This exercise looks at waiting, incomplete information and decisions that do not depend only on you. It compares ways of seeking information, reassurance, distance or a reversible next step. It does not diagnose anxiety or judge one response as appropriate in every situation.
How to use it
For each of twelve situations, choose the response that is closest to what you tend to do. Choose not applicable when the situation does not represent you. You can return to earlier answers; the result explains when too few situations were answered to compare patterns.
Reading your result
Compare the counts with the situations behind them. Then write what you know, what you are assuming and one action within your control. You can keep that reflection with the result; the shared version omits your private exercise text.
