The mythological deity test uses the great figures of classical mythologies (Greek, Roman, Norse, Egyptian, Indian) as contemporary archetypal mirrors. It is not an act of worship or a religious practice: it is a symbolic reading in a Jungian key, recognizing ancient deities as universal models of personality and destiny.
The deities in the test
The classic set includes: Zeus/Jupiter (authority, vision, leadership), Hera/Juno (custody, alliances, dignity), Athena/Minerva (strategy, intellect, wisdom), Apollo (art, balance, prophecy), Aphrodite/Venus (love, beauty, sensuality), Ares/Mars (force, action, challenge), Hermes/Mercury (mediation, word, travel), Artemis/Diana (autonomy, nature, intuition), Dionysus/Bacchus (ecstasy, festivity, transgression), Demeter/Ceres (care, generosity, earth cycle), Persephone/Proserpina (passage, threshold, mystery), Hades/Pluto (depth, transformation, hidden wealth).
Test logic
Archetypal psychology (Jung, James Hillman, Jean Shinoda Bolen) read ancient deities as portraits of universal psychic functions. Bolen, in particular, in "Goddesses in Everywoman" (1984) and "Gods in Everyman" (1989), proposed a map to recognize which deity "inhabits" your personality most. The Tarotsi test is a divulgative version of this approach.
How it works
Answer questions about your priorities, ways of reacting, values and attractions. The tool sums affinity answers and returns your dominant deity, a secondary one and a brief reading: qualities, shadows, suggestions to recognize the divine pattern in your daily life.
FAQ
Can I have more than one deity?
Yes. The reading includes a main and a secondary deity. Together they describe the most active symbolic pattern in your current psyche.
Does it change over time?
Yes. Deities are potentialities: at different life phases a different one can activate. Today s result is not a sentence.
Is it linked to astrology?
Traditions have linked deities and planets: Jupiter to the homonymous planet, Venus to the planet Venus, and so on. The Tarotsi test, however, is not astrological: it works on psychological patterns, not on the natal chart.
