"Will I get a promotion?" is the question of those waiting for recognition, a level change, a shift in responsibility. Promotion depends on merit, company context, internal relationships and timing. The cards help read how you are living the wait and which factors play for or against you.
Six of Wands (recognition, triumph), the Sun (positive visibility) and King of Pentacles (material authority) indicate favorable climate. Four of Pentacles (conservative control from superiors), Seven of Swords (someone playing behind the scenes) or Three of Swords (painful news) suggest obstacles not to ignore. The Hermit may signal the right time has not yet arrived.
Document your results with data. Request a formal review meeting. Make your expectations explicit instead of waiting passively. If the promotion does not arrive in reasonable times, evaluate internal or external alternatives. Real value, in the long run, is recognized: if not in this context, perhaps the context is not the right one.
